This is look out Jim and Bobbie's front gate to their home.

And a their view from the patio of the mountains across the valley.

Tubac is an artist's community just south of us. It has many shops with a variety of art mostly with a southwestern flavor.
Sunday I took my broken ball post down to see if I could find somebody to weld it since it popped back off after my attempt to peen it onto the bracket. I checked most of the shops on the main street and was referred to one that did welding. It was closed and the sign on the door said, "Open by chance and appointment". I didn't think I was going to get this guy to make a trip to the studio to do a five minute weld job.
It was discouraging until one of the shop owner's I had talked to previously found me and pointed out a shop at the end of the street. I found the artist in his studio to the rear side of his gallery. He stopped what he was doing to look at what I needed done. He then said if I could wait he could do it while I waited. He pulled out his arc-welder and did a great job. He didn't want anything for doing the weld, it only took about five minutes including getting setup, but I ask him if twenty buck it would be an insult. He said no.
I re-installed the door strut and tried it out. It held together so it looks like that problem is fixed. I am going back to get a picture of his shop and art. Tomorrow I am going to try to post a video of some wind things that you have to see to believe.
