Friday July 31st
And now I am going to jump from Oklahoma to Oregon. When we left Oklahoma we traveled a little faster only spending a night or two at each location before moving on. We saw so much I became over whelmed and didn't think I could ever catch up. (I was right!) We made it back home to California and anchored for a while. Then our son and daughter invited us to join them on their trip to Florence, Italy. We left July 3rd for our adventure and had the time of our life. I think Debbie and I walked more keeping up with the kids than we have walked in the last ten years! They made sure we saw everything. Having both gone to school in Florence they made excellent tour guides.
Anyway we returned home and are now on our way to our lot in Port Susan, just outside of Marysville, WA. We stopped to top off the tank in Corning, CA. Ty didn't bother to wake up for the fuel stop.
We are now stopped for the night at the Valley of the Rogue State Campground in Oregon and everybody was anxious to get out of the RV. Even though it is a little over 100 degrees.
The park is beautiful with lots of lawn and space between sites.
Here kids are filling water balloons. A perfect activity for a hot day.
Tomorrow we will be leaving for Kelso, WA where we will stay for a couple of nights.
